Bitcoin is a new cryptocurrency
proposed in 2008 and officially launched in 2009 by a secretive internet user
Satoshi Nakamoto. National, as well as international transactions are made
without the inclusion of any middlemen. That is, there is no centralized body
to look over the entire Bitcoin network. Therefore, international payments are
much easier to make, since Bitcoin is not tied to any particular country or
subject to any regulation.
